नोटपैड एक सामान्य टेक्स्ट एडिटर है जो माइक्रोसॉफ्ट विंडोज के सभी संस्करणों में शामिल है जो आपको .txt फ़ाइल एक्सटेंशन वाली प्लेनटेक्स्ट फ़ाइलें बनाने, खोलने और पढ़ने की सुविधा देता है। अगर फ़ाइल में विशेष फ़ॉर्मेटिंग है या वह प्लेनटेक्स्ट नहीं है, तो उसे नोटपैड में नहीं पढ़ा जा सकता।

Windows 10 and 11

1. Press the Windows key.
2. Type notepad in the search field.
3. Click the Notepad program in the search results.

Windows 8

1. Go to the Windows Start Screen.
2. Type notepad.
3. Click the Notepad option in the search results.

Windows 7

1. Start --> All Programs --> Accessories --> Notepad
2. Press (Window + R) --> Open Run Box --> Type notepad --> Click OK
